About Austin Gipson, FNP-C

Austin Gipson, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner caring for patients in Denton, Fort Worth, and Keller. He was born in Fort Worth, but raised in Peaster, TX. Austin earned his Bachelor of Nursing degree from Texas Christian University and his Master of Nursing from Chamberlain University in Irving, TX.

Austin’s love of healthcare runs blood-deep - both of his parents are physical therapists, his twin sister is a nurse, his older sister is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and his uncle is a chiropractor. As a grade school student, he would assist his parents in their clinic when they cared for children with special needs. From that early exposure, Austin developed a passion for building relationships with individuals, helping them improve their health over the long-term, and sharing in their successes as they meet their healthcare goals. Austin’s practice focuses on primary care, Medicare beneficiaries, addiction treatment, chronic care management, and medical weight loss.

Outside of the clinic, you can find Austin in the boxing ring. He also is an avid hunter and enjoys hiking and backpacking.
