About Joyce Chuen, PA-C

Joyce Chuen, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at MEDI Care Clinics, with offices in Fort Worth and Denton, Texas. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and chose to pursue her Bachelor of Science in Biology, minoring in Psychology, from the University of St. Thomas in her hometown.

Passionate about health care, she then attended the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center in Fort Worth, Texas, where she earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies and Master of Biomedical Sciences. She specializes in primary care and has an active interest in wound care, dermatology, and mental health.

Joyce wanted to pursue a career as a physician assistant so she could spend sufficient time with her patients and personalize their care. She is a skilled communicator who aims to keep her patients fully informed about their treatment options and empowered to make decisions regarding their health.

She is board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Her focus at MEDI Care Clinics is on primary care, medical weight loss, Medicare, and chronic care management.
