About Diana Mummert, MD

Diana Mummert, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist caring for patients in North Fort Worth and Keller, Texas. After completing medical school in Romania, Dr. Mummert moved to North Texas to conduct research at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She later completed her residency in psychiatry at John Peter Smith (JPS) Hospital in Fort Worth.

Dr. Mummert has experience practicing psychiatry in both community and inpatient settings and now sees patients in private practice. She treats a wide range of mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, personality disorders, psychotic disorders, and sleep disorders. She provides psychiatric care for both adults and adolescents.

Dr. Mummert understands that mental health challenges can significantly affect a person's well-being, relationships, and ability to manage everyday life. She strives to provide compassionate, comprehensive care tailored to each patient's individual needs and goals.

Her approach considers the psychological, emotional, medical, and environmental factors that may contribute to a patient's symptoms. Dr. Mummert works collaboratively with her patients to develop individualized treatment plans that may incorporate psychotherapy and medication management. Her extensive experience in psychopharmacology allows her to carefully evaluate medication options and tailor treatment to each patient's needs.

Dr. Mummert currently accepts Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, as well as self-pay patients.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Mummert enjoys playing tennis, reading, and traveling with her family.
